This app is easy to use and accessible for many people that have a busy schedule. Their library is amazing! Just search a food and more times than not, you'll get an exact match. Highly recommend!

Glitch in writing data to Health Kit (7.5.2)

There is a glitch in data writing to the Apple Health Data app. The calories and macros are not being transferred completely. If I go in to Health Data to review the data being transferred into the app, it's not showing all my recorded meals. For example, for today it only shows my lunch in Health Data but MyFitnessPal has all three meals and snacks logged. Why aren't ALL logged meals in MyFitnessPal ending up in Health Data. Different days, different meals will transfer over. Some days, none do. Driving me crazy! Would like to see more analytical info so I can get a better idea of trends and see what's working. For instance, I would like to know what my average calories for the week were. Or what my average macros were for the month. Being able to see averages of the various items that are tracked would be very helpful. Graphs showing this data over a certain time period would be great. Tracking data isn't useful without some good informational feedback to help see trends and averages so you can determine whether you need to make adjustments. The exercise info in MyFitnessPal never matches the info from my iPhone's Activity app. The total exercise should match the Move calories and the Exercise minutes from the Activity app but they are always off. I don't understand why these don't match exactly. MyFitnessPal is supposed to pull this info from the Health app so there shouldn't be any discrepencies. I've always burned more calories for more minutes than MyFitnessPal shows and on some ocassions MyFitnessPal calories are way over what I actually burned that day, usually on my rest days. This is so anoying! Why don't these match????? I wish it would always open to the Diary page instead of Home. The Diary is where you typically want to be when using the app so it's the page that the app should always open to or it should open to the last page you viewed which for me would typically be the Diary page. Also, the Home page is pretty useless. It doesn't show enough info. I wish it showed the Nutrition breakdown for the day as well as the calories. The font on the weight Progress screen needs to be bigger. It's so small and faint that I have a hard time reading the weight that I am entering. Why is this so darn small? There is more than enough room on the page to make it larger. The color of the Today widget is so light that I can barely read anything on it making it completely unusable. So thankul the battery drain and crash issues seem to have been fixed with recent updates.

It's a nice system, and the price (free) is right. My only beef is the numerous wrong and duplicate entries and lack of accuracy for raw ingredients when building recipes.

Could not lose weight. Joined MFP. So easy to count calories and scan foods barcodes. With MapMyFitness UA Record and HealthKit a variety of heart rate and motion apps calorie burn counts always find their way to the exercise section. Community board is great. Nutrition section...nutrition autologging from the foods you enter... is so helpful for balancing diet as well. Who knew it was so hard to get your potassium? Highly recommend. It would be nice if it has its own exercise tracking, but that could go on and on for various recommendations.

This app is super easy to use and very helpful in tracking what you eat and your workouts. The blogs and community features also help you connect with others who are in your shoes. I have successfully lost weight using this app and will continue to use it. I have experienced barely any glitches and would definitely recommend it.

It's so convenient for me ! It's an easy to understand app that lets me keep track of everything from food to also giving me tips on how to stay active ! Definitely Recommend if you are in the process of loosing weight of just trying to stay healthy :)

MyFitnessPal is the only reason I have lost 50+ pounds and kept it off for over three years and counting. I log in faithfully every day to track my calories and my exercise. Though health and wellness doesn't come down to just a numbers game (though weight lost seems to) using MyFitnessPal has given me the motivation to also think more critically about the kinds of calories I consume, thanks to its nutritional analysis feature. This app has helped me create the healthy strong body I have always wanted, but didn't have the tools to achieve.

120% of my DV of vitamin C in a green tea bag? I don't think so. I have found so many errors in the food database lately, even misspelled name for barcode-scanned item and wrong # of calories, that I can no longer recommend this app to anyone. Which is a shame, because I really like the UI.

It just keeps getting better and better, more stuff that pops up easily to track. I just sometimes get overwhelmed with making sure I log and then I slack off tracking. But that's nothing to do with how good the app is these days! ;)

Please fix this. I would rather use this App than the one I replaced it with. I walk 2 miles and my calorie burn is usually 300-310(I use my iPhone step meter with it). It only registers 52 calories or less now! Which is incorrect! Other apps register calorie burn right. They lack in the other departments. Thank you and please fix!

Although it took me a few years to use this App to its full potential, it was always helpful in keeping track of my eating. Now I use the time saving features of bringing in past meals, creating my own recipes, and using some gross estimates. Using trial and error, I now have a better idea of what eating plan (low carb, zone, Etc.)works for me and I can customize the macros with that knowledge.

Updated the app on 11/21 and just updated my iPhone to 10.1.1 and now can't freaking log in - can't connect to server. This irritates me beyond words as I depend on this app daily to manage caloric intake.
