Who ever designed this app should be fired (3.3)

The app designer should have watched those courses on design before designing this unusable crap.

As a learning tool, the App is great! (3.3)
9/4/2016 1:29:00 AM 4/5 By InfamousBlackGuy
Despite the many 1 star reviews, I can say with confidence that this app is fantastic. A lot of complaints seem to complain that the app is complicated. I do not see anything complicated about the class; it's as complicated as finding the right book in a library. There are tons of lectures from prestigious universities, lecture notes, and guest speakers made readily available for FREE. Of course I'm not sure if everything is free, but just about everything is. I would defininently recommend. A little about me: Senior Undergrad Computer Scientist/ Young Adult/ Male. If one of these makes my review seem all the more bias to you, ignore it.

iPhone 6 Touch Disease Neglected (3.3)
8/25/2016 12:06:00 AM 1/5 By Blhdjeocnsk
I tried using this app, however, my iPhone hasn't been working properly due to the touch disease defect in the iPhone 6 that Apple has yet to acknowledge. As a matter of fact, almost all of Apple's apps don't work too well anymore.

This app helps you with learning anything. It helped me with robotics and also helped me with my English class. Wide selection of stuff on here, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn.

This would be a good app if they had my school. I go to Kaplan University; I think if they added more schools it would be good. But overall I like it.

Video playback works for a few seconds and then stalls. If I background the app, the audio starts working immediately. Navigate back to app and then it stalls again. Totally unusable.

Follow each of these courses and you’ll be taking amazing college classes for free! What beats that? Thank you Apple for your continued support for education throughout the world.

Unorganized and overly complicated (3.3)
8/1/2016 5:06:00 AM 2/5 By Leschmiz
There's no rhyme or reason to anything going on in this app. Maybe this is the fault of individual instructors rather than the developers of the app itself, but I feel like there has to be some way Apple can make this thing a little easier to use. There's no clear, concise order of the lessons you need to take and there's really not a whole lot of info in general about what course you've downloaded or what you're doing. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something but this app is terrible if you ask me.

After Using (3.3)

The app is really useful not only for me but also for everyone who are using apple iphone or ipad. I am grateful to itune company. It is a store for downloading all types. This is a Sponsored review.

Bad app (3.2)

Confusing to navigate. Doesn't need to be a separate app.

Difficult (3.3)
7/9/2016 11:38:00 AM 2/5 By Vildmel
I want to say that it'd helped me in the classroom (it may have actually) but I cannot. The kids spend so much more time trying to figure out how to use it than actually doing stuff with it. Really takes a big chunk out of the classroom time

Well designed app except... (3.3)
6/29/2016 7:00:00 PM 1/5 By Jacob Gelman
Overall iTunes U is a well design app. However, video playback is absolutely terrible (no it is not my internet connection). The video randomly pauses and sometimes a certain segment of video won't play at all! Because the main function of this app is unusable, the app as a whole is useless to me. By comparison, I can't recall having a single streaming issue while watching YouTube or Netflix.

Gobbles up Cellular Data like mad (3.3)
6/28/2016 9:00:00 PM 1/5 By trinityraven
If you install this app, TURN OFF ITS CELLULAR DATA!!! The app is great, I really love it and use it regularly, and had turned off cellular data a long while back. I recently turned the cellular data access back on and (while on my home WiFi, with WiFi Assist turned off) iTunes U gobbled up 3 GB of data in 24 hours!

Have A Question.... (3.3)
6/24/2016 10:43:00 PM 3/5 By LTWdanceloverxx
Is ITunes U only for teachers or is it for students too?

Great to use in the car (3.3)
6/24/2016 4:14:00 PM 4/5 By Db987654321
I have been using iTunes U to listen to lectures in the car. Usually I just play the lectures without using any of the other features, so my experience is not necessarilly for the full usage of the app. One issue that I have is that when the iPhone connects to an audio playing device, such as the speakers in my car, the Podcasts app automatically begins playing the most recently played podcast. This happens even if iTunes U is open and is the most recently played audio on the phone. There might be a trick to it that makes the OS think Podcasts is preferred over iTunes U, but it would be nice to either set the play order or set iTunes U as the default player.
