It didint work, why?

Amazing. Another masterpiece (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:43:35 AM 4/5 By G. Luv
Absolutely stunning. A delight to play. Only loses one star because I was able to complete the entire game in less than 2 hours. I wish there were more levels.

Disappointing (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:31:42 AM 1/5 By Val0816
I played the first one and loved it, this one I finished in about an hour and a half. It's not challenging at all. Not worth $4.99, I feel like I wasted my money.

Too easy, lacking in momentum (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:28:27 AM 3/5 By Belden Fox
Disappointing. The original Monument Valley was a fairy tale journey. Each new chapter not only introduced new puzzle mechanics but also propelled Ida through a narrative complete with ascents and descents, an ally (the totem) and foes (the crows). The MV I designers even managed to build a multi-chapter storyline around the totem, basically just a stick with an eye. None of that is present in the sequel. The individual puzzles are beautiful but too easy and the game as a whole lacks structure and momentum. Just when it starts to get interesting with two onscreen characters the puzzles don't become any harder and then the game abruptly ends. Worth playing but wait for a sale.

Not worth the price (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:23:09 AM 1/5 By drj3113
The game was fun but for $5 definitely not worth the price. I finished the entire game in two hours. I have free games that last longer than this. I would never have bought this game if I had known it was this short.

Stereotypical Sequel (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:03:58 AM 3/5 By KairuByte
I loved the first game, got a few hours of enjoyment out of it. It was a unique concept with intriguing puzzles, and I was looking forward to more. However, this fits the stereotypical concept of [Title] 2 being less interesting then the first. The sequel is lack luster compared to the original. The base mechanics are still there, however most mechanics are only used a handful of times, apart from slide and turn. Three new mechanics that are sparingly used left the game feeling like a level add on rather then a well thought out sequel. On top of that I got an hour, maybe two of play time. I'll be honest and say I borderline regret he purchase. I could have spent that money on more diamonds in Tap Titans 2.

Great Game (1.0.2)
6/12/2017 12:01:09 AM 4/5 By clinganhome
This was good, but not as memorable as the original monument valley. Although it isn't necessary to play the first game before this, I strongly recommend it, for it is the better game of the two.

STUNNING (1.0.2)

I was skeptical about this game, fearing of a mediocre sequel. BUT THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The story heartfelt, the graphics breathtaking, everything is juts amazing

Good but short (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 11:53:12 PM 4/5 By Fdkjbdfk
I loved MV1 and I was so pumped for this one, but it turned out to be kind of a let down. The graphics are still cool and the story it tells is sweet, but there's two things I didn't like. It was wayy too short and way too easy. I finished the whole game in under an hour and it was not challenging at all. In the first one I got stuck on levels so many times, but on this one I just breezed right through. Overall, a good game, but I don't think it's worth 4.99

Beautiful and elegant but... (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 11:18:46 PM 3/5 By Lislyncal
I was disappointed in how easy this was compared to its predecessor which was also beautifully done but it was more compelling. The puzzles were much more complex and intriguing. For all the work they put into this...wonderful colors, nice story and genius geometry, they forgot to make it a challenging puzzle game that Monument Valley was and should be.

Soothing, Beautiful, Engaging (1.0.2)

I have never experienced an App like this and want everyone to spend some time in this App! You MUST get it. Perfect for a vacation.

Loved the first one (1.0.2)

And am hoping this one is as good 😊 (downloading right now)

Rushed (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 10:42:14 PM 3/5 By irishfan
Not near as good as MV1. Was expecting levels to get much more complicated throughout game, but each level seemed similar to the last. Very little challenge. Just figuring how to get to next button. MV1 made you think as you progressed through the levels. MV2 was simply pointing you in the direction you needed to go. Very dissatisfied in comparison.

Great game, too easy and short (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 10:24:25 PM 4/5 By Zation99
Similar to the first one, it is full of amazing pictures and creativity. I've been waiting this for so long. But also similar to the first one, it is way too short. And it is apparently easier as well. Hope there will be a more challenging expansion.

Beautiful but not challenging (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 10:22:50 PM 4/5 By Ztargazer.95
I have never paid so much for an app but when I saw Monument Valley II, I immediately bought it. The game is beautiful and peaceful. BUT, it is a bit pricey for it being short, not including new concepts(except for the trees) and not being challenging. I think I prefer the first game more but I still appreciate the incredible work they put into both games and I enjoyed them very much.

Beautiful but simple (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 10:16:36 PM 3/5 By NRcyclist
Love the mechanics and design. But the puzzles are simple. A couple hours of play completes the puzzles with very little challenge.

Aaaaghhh! Over too soon! (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 10:03:49 PM 5/5 By Gekkosan
This is a lovely, beautiful game.😍 My only "complaint" is that the challenges never get overly hard, and so it's over too soon! I would love at least twice as many "chapters", or somewhat harder puzzles. 😢

Love the game, dislike the time to cost ratio (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:53:15 PM 3/5 By Thehgdsdghugfss
$5 for a game I finished in under two hours. There are free games I play daily months after. Everything about the game is beautiful and lovely, but there is so much untapped potential here. An entire full production game is possible based on the physics and premise, but it's like 16 levels. I only had to retry 3 levels and that was because I was interrupted. Love the game, don't like the cost to play hours ratio.

Amazing as always! (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:48:26 PM 5/5 By CalBoi23
Just as amazing as MV1. I finished it in less than 2 hours. Impeccable graphics and music as always. I just hope there will add-ons/updates later on. Thank u creators!

Disappointed (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:43:03 PM 2/5 By Sarabera42
I really enjoyed the first game and I waited for new levels. This was much of the same. The puzzles were not challenging and I was able to finish it in just a few days. Not worth the money!

Excellent (1.0.2)

Beautiful, great story

Beautiful but is not as good as the first one. (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:32:52 PM 4/5 By SceCeady
I love Monument Valley (The Forgotten Shore was the best and challenging ) so much that I have always waited for the second one to come out. Finally, Monument Valley 2 came out last night so I purchased it right away. However, it was not as good as I expected. Especially, I don't find the storyline interesting. The first one, the storyline was very amusing and addictive. It was about a princess who tried to save her people. I was surprised to find that all the black birds that fought against her in the game were actually her people and she was trying to turn all of them back to human. The storyline of the second one was about a mother and her daughter. I think it's an ok plot but not really entertaining. Compare to most games out there, Monument Valley 2 is still a great and worth-playing game so I gave it 5 stars. But compare to the old one (Monument Valley), it was a step down. However, I think this is just the beginning since the mother (Ro) was teaching her daughter how to explore the new world out there. I hope that the next story (may be it would be about the new journey of Ro's daughter when she grows up) would be better.

Unique, Interest play, but short (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:15:31 PM 4/5 By Shepherd of Wolves
Great graphics, great mooring with lights and colors, great concept. Lots of new puzzles and clever mechanics in MV2. My main drawback is that it is short. There are only 14 levels about 8 to 10 hours of gameplay. The puzzles are so easy to solve it doesn't require too much brain power, making the game play fast. It is still a great app with lots of fun!

Masterpiece (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:06:35 PM 5/5 By Namredel20
After I beat MV 1 was constantly updated hoping new levels would appear. MV1 IMO was one the best iPhone games I have ever played. MV2 doesn't disappoint one bit. It's incredible soundtrack and scenery make it a hard game to put down especially as you get deeper into the valley and the levels get harder. It seemed to me that MV2 was a little bit easier than MV1 but that might be the case as I had played the game before and knew certain strategies. I would 100% recommend getting this game as well as Monument Valley 1 if you haven't played they yet

Too easy (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 9:06:11 PM 2/5 By Sabinsdad
I burned through MV2 in about 45 minutes. The original was more challenging and more fun.

Add a level creator!!! (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 8:53:41 PM 5/5 By Caiden 1111
I love monument valley so much! I feel like there should be a way that people who play the game can share their own ideas by making a level. This would make it so you can play the game with so many other challenges other than the main story. I feel like this would be a great idea to implement in a future update!

Excellent! Hoping for more! (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 8:45:51 PM 5/5 By Anim8or
This was just as good as the first and in some ways better. The puzzles were great and I was actually impressed that they were not repetitive from the first game. It was great and I wanted more. The only thing that I would say is that it was too short and the puzzles were over too quickly. However, it is a great game and very enjoyable! Definitely worth the purchase!

Number of levels is too small (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 8:38:20 PM 3/5 By ringodax
This game was pretty awesome! The graphics are amazing and the story is cute but doesn't run the play. However the reason I didn't give 5 stars is there aren't enough levels to warrant $4.99. I definitely wouldn't buy it again knowing how few levels there are.

Ok (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 8:16:43 PM 3/5 By Spelling Dad
I wish I had read the reviews before spending $5 on a game. Like the first version, the graphics were beautiful. Unlike the first one, there were almost no real challenges to this version. I get what everyone is saying that there don't need to be so many levels, but not one level posed any real challenge. The first version worked me several times. Overall, I have to give it a "Meh" rating. Not worth the price.

Not as good as the first (1.0.2)
6/11/2017 8:16:28 PM 2/5 By GoldenMur
I was obsessed with the first one and played it a few different times. This one, although stunning, was solely just a visual walk through. God through each "puzzle" in roughly 2 mins max. Not much thought is needed to get through them. I thought on one of the levels that there was a glitch because it literally just had to walk down some path and stairs and it said I completed the level. I had to start it over to see if I missed something. The visuals are gorgeous but still very disappointed in the game play.
