A dream app for all my projects! Makes shopping so much easier to be able to quickly tell if furniture will fit where I was visualizing, because I not only have a pic of the space, but the space's dimensions within that pic! Also great for my building projects as well. Never have to worry about forgetting needed dimensions at home while shopping for lumber or accessories at Home Depot or Lowes. So even if you only have one project or dozens like me, this is the app for you!

This app is amazing. Great job developers! I have quite an addiction to checking out all sorts of apps. I've deleted hundreds for not measuring =) up to what they claim to be. This app is actually better than it claims to be. This is a useful, powerful but still user-friendly app that will stay on my phone for as long as I have it. Thanks!

Excellent app to help you communicate your ideas, projects, thoughts and more. Perfect planning tool for any home project i.e. painting, wallpapering, landscaping, etc. Perfect for showing the size and dimensions of items you post for sale on the Internet I.e. a couch, table, rug, etc. Endless ways it cam be used. Doesn't actually DO the measuring just gives you a way to display what YOU'VE already had to measure manually. They tell you this if you click on the "More" link on iTunes description.

very useful app, especially if you're into DIY. just take a photo or import one from your camera roll, use the intuitive interface to draw lines or arrows and add annotations, then share or save the result as a high-quality picture. clean interface, easy to draw and drag measurements, customizable and elegant.
please note that it doesn't actually measure anything. you still need to measure but the app provides handy tools to organize, save and share those measurements in a stylish way.

Since we're replacing all the trim in our house, this app is invaluable. It's super handy to take a picture of a door/wall, measure it, then make whatever notes I need to. When I'm making cuts, I don't have to go back to the door, I just open the app and review everything. SUPER helpful and saves me lots of time!

I have been using this app for some time and it was very useful. Unfortunately they "updated" it and now I will have to buy the pro version to have features that were included from the beginning. I'm not impressed.

First thing is to address people that think when you buy an app you get updates for life, automatically. Yes, that has been the tradition for most apps on the app store, but it is not guaranteed. Sometimes apps are totally re-written to perform better and to add amazing things. In those cases a developer needs to recoup their costs for that process. That being said, with an app like this the functionality they added with a "Pro" version is a bit dubious.
Aside from any "bait and switch" complaints, I really like this app. At least the idea of it. Sometimes the UI is a bit clunky but otherwise it's a handy notation tool. People that thought it automatically measured the things they were photographing didn't read the details very carefully. In fact, if I saw an app that "looked" like it did that, I would read the details very carefully to see if it actually "claimed" it did. There are some of those apps out there and some of them kinda work for rough measurements.
Taken for what this app claims to be and for what it does, it's a great little app. I sell things online and post photos of the items all the time. Sometimes people want to know dimensions and to give them a better spatial idea of those numbers, I use this app. I take the pic I already shot and import it into the app (or quickly shoot another with a better angle for display) and within a minute or so I've got those nice little arrows showing just how big the item is. My only complaint is that the unit of measurement doesn't seem to stick, and I constantly have to change it. If there is a setting for a default, maybe I just haven't seen it. Documentation would be nice. Again, maybe there is and I've just been to lazy to look. Otherwise it works fine for me and I'm glad they are continuing to improve it.
It may be irritating but give the developer a break on the pricing. People are used to .99 apps and that pricing may not work for all developers. And since they added iCloud sync on the "pro" version, it might be a worthwhile upgrade for some. I hear that iCloud is not easy to integrate for some apps and it may have taken some resources for them to add it in.
Note to developer: Hear the complaints about pop up ads pestering people to upgrade. We don't like it. Maybe once for each time the app is upgraded would be okay so folks know there is another option. Also make sure that your "Pro" upgrades are worth it to the purchaser. By including those features into just one app version, you may find yourself with many more people purchasing your product.
