As there are many great reviews/guides below/above i'll just give a short list of dos and don'ts.
DO:
- download the game, it's pretty fun if you like collecting stuff (or if you ever enjoyed playing magic the gathering type card games, this game reminded me of my younger days trading cards with my friends) You can only trade with fellows and order members now.
- look through the bazaar to get a good sense of card value.
- start out by putting points in Stamina, I'd say up to 120 :) apparently u hav infinite stamina until lvl 20? i still recommend putting at least 100 points in stamina or else lvling will b real slow.
- pick a realm that you wont regret. Demons are indeed more attack based. Gods are quite balanced (which may be a disadvantage) while Man is defensive (but nice and cheap!) In the end, go with the one that you think you'd like more. Man cards have famous fighters and heroes, Gods have famous Greek and Norse gods and others, and demons will be demons.
- find nice people because they can help you.
- enter a referral code after the tutorial. It doesn't matter whose really, but 50,000 (in game currency) is quite helpful (the rare card not so much). You dont have to make contact with them in-game, its essentially a one night stand ;) Make sure you write their number down first, though, just in case you forget. Here's an example code (mine): KLG55073.
- beware of some of the reviews on here. U wont be invited to a top100 order because they will not invite newbies to the game. Also if there is no IGN (in game name) posted, u cant contact them cuz u cant contact through referral codes and they have no idea who u are, i.e. they are lying to u.
DO NOT:
- use any of the items you get from questing until you have a clear understanding of its value.
- trade with any other player until you understand what the value of whatever it is you're trading. most of the time they are trying to scam newbies. Generally holy powder (hp) and cure waters (cw) are used as currency where 1hp=2cw but this can fluctuate some. You can get most rare cards for about 1hp so look for those! Also when trading for rare cards, make sure you look at the red circles on the bottom right the card. The rare card with one red circle is much more valuable than the [ ] rare card with four red circles because that means they were evolved from a high normal card (read: near worthless)
- (do not)use your legendary card pack claim tickets blindly!!! Wait for the right promotion! I can't stress this one enough. Out of three tickets I've used (while there was no promotion) I've got two high normal cards, which you can get from questing and so are pretty worthless. Nowadays u always get 1hp and 3 bazaar tickets so thats good! Now I say save up ur tickets for ur favorite cardpacks!

This game is very tough for people who aren't shelling out cash for cards,the referral cards are worthless,chances of getting a great card with claim packs tickets are VERY slim regardless of what promotion is at time so the more the better ,fellows rarely trade, top orders have crazy requirements.Enhancing/Evolving cards can get tiring so save rupies and "arch/angel queens" they help, many people use alternate accounts which can get annoying when trying to rank up....save up all your holy powder/cure water til u can buy a sr,ssr or legend card fully evolved on the bazaar.130 stamina is fine to finish all quest-with time. Put the rest into attack,defense is optional..man cards are cheap and currently top dawg gods following and then demons but the choice is yours. With all being said. Rage of bahamut is and can be frustrating.! Just remember its a game and only buyers,liars and cheaters win everyone else is average or below.. ..p.s. Look for deals on the bazaar buy low sell high...DON'T BUY CARDS UR MAKING CYGAMES/MOBAGE RICH WITH NOTHING IN RETURN.THINK.! IF THEY STOPPED TOMORROW UR OUTTA EVERYTHING! NOT A GREAT INVESMENT support the average joes

I've played this game and it ruined TCG for me; the only way to get to better cards is to pay a lot of money to get them. Many people have resorted to less honorable means to get them, and some scam people to get more money out of them. Their events get harder and worse over time; rewards don't give you enough credit on how much you've spent. And their support team is the worst you could ever encounter.
Don't even waste your time on this game. It's not even popular in Japan: Puzzles and Dragons is. BTW I live in Japan.

I hate that I spent money on event powders and when I go to trade in the flower from using it i get a guaranteed item from mystery box, all I get are Rubies, friendship points, and high normals it really make me wonder why I spend money on this game. I feel like I've spent a good amount of money on this game and didn't get anything worth the money it.

visuals are stunning. I love evolving them and watching the graphics change with each card. The events are fun and so is the quest and battle systems.
