Comments and Ratings for Essential Anatomy 5

Essential Anatomy is an Essential Adjunct to your Aantomy Class (5.0.5)

The only App out there that may be a little better than Essential Anatomy 5 is its successor, Complete Anatomy. You can make screens, recordings and quizzes and collaborate with your fellow students. It makes studying very rirgorous content easier and more productive.

Great, but could be better. (5.0.4)

This app is an extremely useful tool for demonstration and exploration of the Human body. However, there are two issues with the UI which I want the developers to fix: 1. There’s no panning function. In order to pan across the model I need to zoom in and zoom out several times in different locations on the screen. It is very uncomfortable that I can’t skip to different parts of the body quickly. Please add panning to the app in the next updates. 2. I can’t browse body parts while in “Isolate” mode. This is also very inconvenient since I can’t display one organ and then explain how it’s connected to the other one or a certain system while still have the parts that I need isolated. Please consider adding that to the app. 3. Zoom often lags and displays the empty soace instead of the part of the body that I intended to zoom. I assume the sensitivity settings change on their own. Otherwise, the app is totally worth the money I spent and it was a great help to me with presentations at school. However, the above issues got in the way.

overpraised and overpriced!!! (5.0.4)

Dissapointments: 1. Muscles and bones we have to buy additionally. So mercantile. 2. Not all structures or surfaces of organs mentioned. 3. The endocrine system is mixed in digestive end urinary systems. 4. Ear is absent as organ totally 5. Skin structures ignored 6. Nose absent 7. WHERE is the PERITONEUM with all it’s structures, folds and ligaments??? It should be written in description with a big letters: a humble attempt to create visual assistance in studying anatomy. Please, have some teaching professionals involved in further development. But my 8-year kid is just happy. Good job.

Great aid for PT school (5.0.4)

When you pair this with an atlas and the rest of the internet, it becomes the most helpful tool for studying. Anatomy and kinesiology are a lot easier. Simple to use with tons of information and versatility. Definitely worth the money.

Amazing App (5.0.4)

Technically I would rate it a 4.5/5 but I rounded up! The app has been perfect for visualizing the anatomy when i cannot be in the lab and offers an incredible amount of detail. Perfect for Medical School. My only problem that I have is that the search function is a little broad at times. When im searching for very specific structures it often doesnt pull them up because im not wording it exactly how it is in the search engine. Other than that, this is a wonderful app and I owe a lot of my success to the help this offers.

Love it (5.0.4)

Incredible app, could always improve (5.0.2)

The user interface of this app is truly remarkable! Being able to add/remove muscle layers, nerves, etc. has helped a ton in learning anatomy. I do have a few recommendations I would like to see. 1. When searching for or clicking on a muscle, I would like an option to disable the automatic zoom-in. I love that the muscle highlights and stands out, but the constant automatic zoom-in when trying to keep the muscle in relation to the rest of the body part I am studying is very annoying. 2. Some type of bar (like the bars that in word documents) to move left and right/up and down on the body. Because of the constant zoom-in, the body moves all around your screen. If you grab the body, it 3D rotates. If you zoom in/out with your fingers you can only zoom in and out. There seems to be no way to move the body around the screen without constantly having to click the home button. Overall I would definitely recommend this app to anyone taking anatomy and It was worth every penny!
