MindNode makes mind mapping delightful. Mind maps are a visual representation of your ideas, starting with a central thought and growing from there. MindNode allows you to brainstorm, organize & share your thoughts in an intuitive way, so you can focus on the idea behind it. The clean interface lets you concentrate on generating and connecting thoughts, and an infinitely expanding canvas means that no matter how big or complicated your project gets, MindNode can keep up.

MindNode has helped students, artists and project managers to be more creative with less effort.

Comments and Ratings for MindNode 2

Feature suggestion (2.4.6)

This app is dope. I’ve been using it for brainstorming, scheduling, goal setting, conceptual archtitecture “sketching”. Excited to get to know it more. I found myself recently wanting to export a number of files to PDF. My ideal in that situation would be to be able to highlight all of the desired tabs, and then be able to apply an export action to all of them simultaneously. Anyways. Cheers. This is an incredible product. Intuitive, simple, powerful, smooth and what I’ve been looking for. It’d also be sick to be able to have an ability to represent multiple inheritance (i.e. each node could have multiple inputs and outputs)

Fantastic for creating arbitrary trees (2.4.6)

I've found MindNode to be an absolute delight to use. I use the Mac version on an almost daily basis for keeping track of my complex hierarchy of tasks. Everything works exactly how you'd expect a good Mac app to work. The automatic layout / spacing is incredibly helpful. I don't know if there exists better software for creating arbitrary trees. It's simple, beautiful, and delightful.

Great tool for teaching (2.4.5)

I’m a pastor who has been using Mindnode for years. It’s an essential tool for my workflow. Every lesson or sermon I teach starts as a Mindnode doc, where I dump research, illustrations, examples, discussion questions, etc. I then disconnect and reconnect nodes into what eventually becomes my lesson outline. On some occasions, I’ve used MindNode as a presentation tool: folding and unfolding nodes as I move through the lesson. Audiences stay engaged and anchored in the subject at hand. There are many other mind-mapping apps out there, but the elegant design and ease of use of MindNode is simply the best.

Forces you to buy to try features….which don’t work properly (2.4.5)

Update: the developers quickly got back to me and indicated they confirmed the problem and will be addressing it in a forthcoming update. Very professional and responsive. I’m still not sure mind mapping works for me, but I have to say this app uses the Touch Bar more effectively than any other I’ve seen. Original:I downloaded the demo to try MindNode’s TaskPaper import. It wouldn’t import a TaskPaper file. I decided to take my chances and purchased the full version, only to discover massive data loss when importing from TaskPaper files. All TaskPaper tags are missing in MindNode, and even worse, every line which include a tag has lost all the text that follows that tag. For example, biggest problem @openQ is that the text may end up raising more questions than it answers was imported into MindNode as biggest problem

To Simple (2.4.3)

All these reviews for how great the product is…. BS - This is the most basic mind mapping software, I feel cheated!!!

The best of what a Mac should be (2.4.3)

All the power of the old, crufty, expensive mind mapping software--often more!--but with an interface that is clean, easy to learn, discoverable, and elegant. "Delightful" is the right word.

Simple and to the point (2.4.3)

MindNode has a clean, simple to use interface, that does most of what I want for a very reasonable price. I spent a lot of time today looking at mind mapping software. Many of the products were clunky in a number of ways, some of them were not, but those that were easy to use were also very expensive and full of features I didn’t need. Thanks for the great product! Now if only I could attach or link to files…

Best Mind / Business Mapping App (2.4.3)

I have really loved MindNode for my business planning. As someone with a creative mind, it definitely helps to get thoughts out of my brain in an organized structure. Definitely a worthy investment.

well polished and useful (2.4.2)

I’ve used Mindnode 1 for years and it’s always worked very well — so well in fact that I didn’t see any need to upgrade until now. I’m glad I did. The developers have clearly been busy polishing the app and adding excellent productivity features while keeping the core functionality simple and clean. I find mind mapping the best way to brainstorm and organize unruly ideas. And now that task integration is here, I am looking at further integrating this into my workflow for all kind of projects.

A critical part of my daily workflow (2.4.2)

I’ve been a Getting Things Done (GTD) and mind mapping user for many years. Since the introduction of Mindnode, and having begun using this tool, I have come to find it an indispensible part of my workflow. All of my meetings get noted in Mindnode, I use it to sketch out ideas. The user interface is easy to use, non-obtrusive. The iCould integration is flawless, and the iOS application works just as beautifully and seamlessly as the desktop. If you are looking for an easy-to-use, yet fully featured mind mapping application, I highly recommend Mindnode for both iOS and the Mac.
